Triple Crown Senior Living Appoints John “JT” Thompson as Chief Strategy and Investment Officer

I am excited to announce John “JT” Thompson as Chief Strategy and Investment Officer for Triple Crown Senior Living. JT has worked closely with Triple Crown over the last year while working with its partner Denton Floyd Real Estate Group. In the Strategy and Investment role for Triple Crown, JT is responsible for capital markets activity, investor relations and partnering with the senior executive team on all strategy, growth plan and transactions.
JT has more than 30 years of extensive financial and operational experience in both public and privately-owned companies. In these roles, he has helped to consistently drive business performance and accretive value creation through hands-on leadership in strategy, finance, operations, corporate development, and acquisitions, leveraging clear vision, fact-based planning, and resource optimization.
Before joining Denton Floyd and Triple Crown, JT served as the CFO of Inception Fertility; CFO and CAO of Confluent Health; CFO of Reliant Rehabilitation; President and COO of Velocitel, Inc; President and CFO of Merith Health Systems; and EVP and CFO of Ventas, Inc. JT started his career at Humana, Inc. upon graduating from the University of Louisville.
It has been evident over the last year working with JT, his experience, demeanor and approach exemplify the culture at Triple Crown. We look forward to his continued contribution and leadership to assist us in achieving our goals.
